Sex and Spirituality at Yoga Central
Sex and spirituality is often separated in our culture yet ancient Tantric practices view sexuality as an integral path to the Divine. On Sunday, February 9, Janet Oussaty, Phd., will be conducting an introductory workshop entitled Sex and Spirituality, from 1-4pm at Yoga Central in Branchburg. The instruction explores the Tantric understanding that there is no distinction between mind, body, heart and spirit, therefore sexuality and spirituality spring from the same sacred source.
Workshop Facilitator Dr. Janet M. Oussaty, who has completed Advanced Training in Tantric Principles and Practices as well as Sacred Intimacy at the Shalom Mountain Retreat Center in Livingston Manor, New York, will help participants explore a variety of tantric practices individually and with others. Personal reflection and journal writing are included. These practices are designed to help release, open and expand our capacities for deep, vibrant Divine Love for ourselves, others, nature and the planet. It is not so much about having great sex; it is more about having a sexier life.
All are welcome! Individuals and couples of all sexual orientations. Please bring a journal and wear loose, comfortable clothing (throughout the workshop!).
Janet is a Professor at Kean University in Union, New Jersey where she developed and currently teaches courses in Holistic Health, Reiki and T’ai Chi Chih.
