Meditation brings the mind and body together, and cultivates an “awareness” muscle within, instilling greater calm and relaxation into our moments on and off the mat. A reactive mind can be calmed through regular practice. By simply dedicating a short amount of time each day to sitting meditation, individuals can experience reduced stress, enhanced sleep, improved focus, and better overall health. This course provides lots of practice opportunities, as well as concrete strategies for working with a scattered or busy mind, intrusive thoughts and physical limitations.
