Yoga Central Now Offers T’ai Chi Chih and Qi Healing Workshops
The Qi Healing/Clinical QiGong Introductory Workshop will be held on Saturday, March 21, from 1-4pm. If you are experiencing the “winter blues,” classified in part by low, stuck or fragmented energy, tap into the treasure of simple yet profound healing practices utilized and tested for centuries. Based on Classical Chinese Medicine, these methods can cultivate, build, move, cleanse and balance our energy. The result is restored health, wellbeing and vitality.
This experiential workshop will focus on ways that we can help ourselves use body, mind and breath to discover peaceful calm within. It will also show us how we can assist others. Each participant will receive a Qi Healing session from one of the instructors.
Please bring a notebook and wear comfortable clothing. Preregister by March 18. Cost is $45 if paid by March 15, $55 afterwards.
The second workshop consists of six consecutive sessions, beginning on Wednesday, March 25 from 6-7:15pm. Dr. Janet M. Oussaty, instructor, facilitates joy through movement as participants practice 19 simple, gentle movements in the non-martial art of T’ai Chi Chih. In this moving meditation, individuals have been able to reduce stress, pain, regulate blood pressure, increase energy and more regardless of any physical limitations.
Dr. Janet M. Oussaty is an accredited T’ai Chi Chih and Seijaku instructor. She has been teaching TCC for fifteen years. The cost for the workshop series is $83.
