Business Spotlight: Quantum Wellness

If you are not currently familiar with Quantum Wellness Center, it is a resource well worth exploring, perhaps now more than ever. Consider that we in the U.S. are living in a time of unprecedented challenges, which, for many people, can lead to escalating stress levels. It seems like operating in a continual state of stress has almost become normalized in our culture. And yet, we know that when it comes to our health, stress is neither normal, nor healthy.

In fact, chronic stress can have many damaging effects on our bodies over time, promoting cell-damaging inflammation, elevated cortisol levels, weight gain, and more. We see a cascade effect when stress over-activates the immune system, spiking inflammation levels which can lead to many additional health problems.

While we cannot realistically avoid all stressors in life, we do need to find healthy ways to cope with it. For those who wish to live long, healthy lives, cultivating positive stress-management techniques is crucial. This brings us back to Quantum Wellness Center, a resource that can help you detox, improve your mental, physical, and emotional wellness, and positively elevate your spirit through a rich array of demonstrably effective stress-taming treatments in a serene, welcoming environment.

Located in Bedminster, New Jersey, Quantum Wellness offers services that allow you to experience profoundly restorative rest and relaxation on every level. Given the abundance of offerings, you may wish to start with a consultation about your current lifestyle patterns to help determine which modalities might work best for you. These include:

Float Therapy – Often called a “vacation for your senses,” floating relieves stress, anxiety, and depression, reduces chronic fatigue caused by insomnia and jet lag, stimulates creativity, accelerates mental clarity and learning, and soothes chronic pain from arthritis, fibromyalgia, inflammation, tendonitis, and more.

Reiki – This energy healing technique helps to promote relaxation and reduce stress and anxiety through gentle touch. It may also bring on a meditative state, foster tissue and bone healing after injury or surgery, stimulate your body’s immune system, promote natural self-healing, and relieve pain and tension.

Therapeutic Massage – Along with reducing muscle pain and soreness, this healing therapy can help improve sleep, relieve stress and anxiety, and support immune wellness. Quantum Wellness offers a range of options, including therapeutic, deep-tissue, Ayurvedic facials, and cupping.

Acupressure Therapy – This therapy stimulates the body’s circulatory, lymphatic, and hormonal systems, while also helping to relieve stress and anxiety, improve sleep, relax your muscles and joints, regulate digestive issues, minimize headaches and migraines, and may also help alleviate back pains and menstrual cramps.

Cryotherapy – This treatment exposes the body to extremely cold temperatures for up to three minutes, which has been found to reduce migraine symptoms, treat mood disorders, soothe arthritic pain, and promote athletic recovery. Quantum Wellness offers both full body and local cryotherapy, which targets specific areas of the body.

Infrared Sauna – By uniquely combining heat and light, this therapy helps boost your immune system, reduce blood pressure, improve sleep, promote relaxation, support healthy weight loss, provide relief to sore muscles and joints, improve circulation, aid your body’s natural detoxification efforts, and more.

Yoga – This ancient practice offers many wellness benefits, such as increased flexibility, improved muscle strength and tone, better respiration and circulatory health, a more balanced metabolism, weight reduction, improved athletic performance, protection from injury, and more.

Quantum Wellness also offers transformational workshops designed to facilitate profound and lasting improvements to your well-being. These workshops include The Art of Agreement, Energy Medicine, Sound Healing, and Quantum Kids Academy for our future leaders. Quantum Wellness also hosts private wellness events and retreats for the families, groups, and businesses.

Again, it can often feel next to impossible to disengage from the chaos of life and expand our awareness into potential blockages that may impair physical, mental, and/or emotional well-being. However, cutting corners on vital self-care can have negative repercussions over time. You deserve better! To that end, Quantum Wellness wants to make it easy for you to take time for yourself, to relax into some seriously beneficial self-care with a plethora of treatment modalities to choose from, which can have positive results in many areas of your life.

From the start, the vision for Quantum Wellness was to create a one-of-a-kind world-class wellness center offering a transition from the exhausting, often toxic hustle-bustle of everyday life into a soothing, restorative, rejuvenating retreat where your mind, body, and spirit can find their way back to optimal wellness, naturally. Let the healing begin!

Tick Talk

Spring officially sprung on March 21. We have turned our clocks ahead. We are looking forward to warm winds, sunny skies and the smell of fresh cut grass. The daffodils and tulips have recently bloomed and we are just starting with the yard work that comes with the warmer weather.  Sadly, another season has started ramping up.  Tick season.

•             The best form of protection is prevention. Educating oneself about tick activity and how our behaviors overlap with tick habitats is the first step.

•             According to the NJ DOH, in 2022 Hunterdon County led the state with a Lyme disease incidence rate of 426 cases per 100,000 people. The fact is ticks spend approximately 90% of their lives not on a host but aggressively searching for one, molting to their next stage or over-wintering. This is why a tick remediation program should be implemented on school grounds where NJ DOH deems high risk for tick exposure and subsequent attachment to human hosts.

•             Governor Murphy has signed a bill that mandates tick education in NJ public schools. See this for the details.  Tick education must now be incorporated into K-12 school curriculum. See link:

•             May is a great month to remind the public that tick activity is in full swing. In New Jersey, there are many tickborne diseases that affect residents, including Anaplasmosis, Babesiosis, Ehrlichiosis, Lyme disease, Powassan, and Spotted Fever Group Rickettsiosis.

•             For years, the focus has mainly been about protecting ourselves from Lyme disease. But other tick-borne diseases are on the rise in Central Jersey. An increase of incidence of Babesia and Anaplasma are sidelining people too. These two pathogens are scary because they effect our blood cells. Babesia affects the red blood cells and Anaplasma effects the white blood cells.

•             Ticks can be infected with more than one pathogen. When you contract Lyme it is possible to contract more than just that one disease. This is called a co-infection. It is super important to pay attention to your symptoms. See link.
