The Empowered Light Holistic Expo, a new event “to help bring a sense of empowerment to each of us,” according to founder Sue Greenwald, will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., October 28; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., October 29; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., October 30, at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, Hall D, in Oaks, Pennsylvania. The event’s focus is on healthier lifestyles, including nutrition and food, stress reduction and self-care, alternative healing therapies and spiritual experiences. Speakers, authors, practitioners and psychic mediums will make presentations and conduct workshops, classes and sessions on alternative healing modalities, health and wellness topics and spiritual practices; healthy foods and raffle prizes also will be available, as will yoga classes and meditations. Many Expo activities and products are free while others require a small fee.
“Our rushed society causes the average person to feel stressed, leading to illness, unhappiness and a deep feeling of powerlessness,” says Greenwald, who also founded Thrive Yoga & Wellness Center, in Malvern, Pennsylvania, adding that event attendees should depart feeling inspired, with a greater sense of purpose as they come to experience “deeper relaxation, healing and a sense of peace.”
