Cupping: An Ancient Tool for Health and Wellness
A randomized control trial study on 29 subjects with plantar fasciitis showed that dry cupping could reduce pain and tightness and increase functioning. Participants reported overall pain reduction after two sessions per week for four weeks.
In a study on the effectiveness of cupping for relieving low back pain, 37 patients were given moving cup therapy; 33 other patients were treated with an anti-inflammatory drug. Patients receiving cupping found it to be more effective than drug therapy.
